• Emergency Vault: Medical information, emergency instructions, and other details you choose to store
• Device Information: Device tokens for push notifications

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Send you daily check-in reminders and notifications
• Alert your emergency contacts if you miss a check-in
• Share your location and emergency vault information with contacts during an alert
• Provide customer support and respond to your inquiries
• Improve and maintain our service

Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using industry-standard practices:

• All data is encrypted in transit using TLS/SSL
• Emergency vault contents are encrypted at rest
• We use Cloudflare's global infrastructure for secure, reliable hosting

• Emergency Alerts: When you miss a check-in, we share your name, location, and emergency vault information with your designated emergency contacts

Mobile Information Privacy

We do not share your mobile phone number or any mobile information with third parties for marketing or promotional purposes.

Your phone number is used solely to:

• Send you check-in reminders and safety notifications

SMS Messaging Terms

No SMS messages will be sent until you have explicitly consented.

By providing your phone number and opting in to SMS notifications, you consent to receive text messages from ProofPing related to:

• Daily check-in reminders
• Missed check-in alerts
• Emergency notifications to your contacts
• Service updates and security notices

Message frequency: Varies based on your check-in schedule (typically 1-3 messages per day when active).

Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

To opt out: Reply STOP to any SMS message, or disable SMS notifications in your app settings. Reply HELP for assistance, or contact support@proofping.app.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access: Request a copy of your personal data
• Correction: Update or correct your information through the app
• Deletion: Delete your account and all associated data through the app settings
• Portability: Request your data in a portable format

Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, all personal data is permanently removed from our systems.
